Mark your calendars now for the 28th Annual Texas Association for Investigative Hypnosis (TAIH) Training Conference hosted by the Bill Blackwood Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas (LEMIT).  Since its inception, TAIH has been providing continuing education to Forensic and Investigative Hypnotists throughout the State of Texas.

LEMIT is located on the campus of Sam Houston State University in Huntsville and provides our organization with a state of the art facility enabling us to offer quality training to our members.

This year, we are honored to have two speakers from the Federal Bureau of Investigation.  On Tuesday, November 15th, Dr. Kirk Kennedy, who manages the Forensic Hypnosis program at Quantico, will speak to us about the FBI’s Hypnosis program and psychological issues related to Hypnosis.  On Wednesday, November 16th, Steven Conlon, with the FBI Behavioral Science Unit at Quantico, will speak regarding the psychological motivation of rapists.

Remodeling of the University Hotel is completed and arrangements were made at the 2010 conference for accommodations for the 2011 conference.  We will once again be housed at the University Hotel, adjacent to the LEMIT building.  The rate for this year will be $77.95/night.   The hotel is now accepting reservations.  Their contact number is (936) 291-2151.  Don’t forget to mention that you are with TAIH.

Please complete the registration form and mail, fax or e-mail it back by November 1st.  It is not necessary to include payment information with the registration form.
