Texas Association for Investigative Hypnosis

News/Information

TAIH was saddened recently to learn of the passing of one of our members on January 17, 2011.  Mr. Edward Lindsay, 91, was a charter member of TAIH and a forensic hypnotist for 25 years.  He served his country proudly in World War II in the Army and was a practicing lawyer who still went into his office on a daily basis.  Mr. Lindsay celebrated his 91st birthday with his fellow investigative hypnotists at our 2010 training conference.  He often regaled us with his stories about D-Day and he was extremely proud of his military service, especially his landing on Utah Beach.  Ed, you will be missed.

If you are in law enforcement and interested in becoming a certified forensic hypnotist, training is provided by Capital Area Council of Governments in Austin.  A five-day, 50-hour class is usually held at the beginning of each year in Austin.  Please click here for more information regarding upcoming dates and registration for this course.

If you are currently a certified forensic hypnotist in the law enforcement field and would like to join TAIH, please complete the application.  Membership fees are $50.00 per year and can be made by check, money order or PayPal.  Upon receipt, your application will be submitted to the Board of Directors for review.
